An instructional video on how to begin using dBASE. Created by Software Video Productions in 1984.
The video is quite well produced, and does an admirable job of trying to explain a database product that has what is, in retrospect, an unnecessarily difficult interface, More info on dBASE can be found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DBase.
This was captured from laserdisc by me; the only post-processing was 30i to 60p deinterlacing, video noise reduction, and editing both laserdisc sides together into a single video. Even with reduction, there is nothing that can be done about the laserdisc “rot” towards the middle of the video as that was the end of one side of the disc, but as soon as the second side begins, the video noise is gone (laser rot usually affects only one side of a disc).
